Walking the Talk

The Canadian Restaurant & Bar Show has a mission, and the word “unique,” as in “the most unique foodservice industry show,” is at the heart of it. Our first goal isn’t to just produce the biggest trade show in Canada; it’s to provide an entirely new experience.

It’s an ambitious goal, and to achieve it, we’ve put together a slate of show features that will make the second annual CR&B Show the standout industry event of the season:

  • The CR&B Cocktails and Dreams Show, featuring live flair, mixology competitions, and cocktail and mocktail seminars;

  • The Sysco Provincial Culinary Challenge, a black box-style competition pitting some of Canada’s best chefs against each other;

  • And more, including education sessions, butchery demonstrations and cooking demos.

Even with a packed schedule of events, the CR&B Show is still, at heart, a trade show, and at the centre of everything are industry suppliers, distributors, brokers and other exhibitors who make commercial foodservice a reality in Canada. Between watching chefs battle it out and flair bartenders compete to be the country’s best, attendees will have the opportunity to sample the newest products, establish new contacts and make deals that will shape their business through 2020. For exhibitors, it’s the chance to get their business in front of an engaged, receptive audience. (And if you haven’t signed up to exhibit, you can change that here.)

When we first developed the CR&B Show, we wanted it to be an experience, because no matter the setting, that’s what foodservice is, from a grab-and-go sandwich from a deli to a five-course meal in the trendiest restaurants.

We decided to do the same. The CR&B Show doesn’t just put hospitality on display; it puts it into practice. It’s an experience, and you shouldn’t miss it.
